welllll, similar to my "ich kann nicht schlafen" poem but still different. amazing to be able to write in english while half asleep. 
Sleepy dreams
Wide awake yet still I dream
Of days to come and days that passed.
Once a thought has caught my mind
Its dreamy friends join in so fast
And seem to last, they will not go!
Moments that I loved and wish
Intrude the head as well as heart.
I am dreaming without sleep,
So sweet, but still a nuisance since
I can’t afford to dream
A Tuesday night, I have to sleep!
Goodnight then, lovely visions,
Join my dreams but let me rest.
Goodnight.
