Well, this one's not perfect. I wrote it while waiting at the doctor's (do you say it like that?!) and I had nothing else to do than to think of my only love. ;-) And this is what I made of my thoughts (in the Wartezimmer)
Filling the Gap
I fill my day with images of you, Grey clouds turn blue and in it – you. No details really, nothing’s clear I fill the gap so that you’re near.
They’re ghosts and hard to grasp, The pure imagination will not last. And this is why I hope the day When meeting you will not delay.
T’ is not for long but still a while. Until that day I won’t deny Your ghost is sitting next to me And smiles, your eyes bewitching me.
You should publish a volume of collected poetry. Your poems are wonderful! Also, it's a great way to spend time...although I most times write stories, not poems :)
oh thanks a lot melly! yes, actually i thought about trying to publish my poems but i don't have enough yet. maybe in a year. ;-) i still want to buy your story book, so bring one to class next time! :-)
your poetry is really great! there's nothing more to say. and i think, it's a really good idea to do some writing when you're waiting. so you don't waste time...
