Hi, I'm a babysock, I just want to introduce myself. To be honest, I'm a twin, as socks always are, but she, my sistersock, is a bit shy and I hope you don't blame her for not coming. But I can tell you, she looks exactly like me. OK, I'm a bit more dirty because I like exlporing the world. My sister prefers hanging around, she isn't much into people. Most of the time when people see me, they tell me (I better say they tell my owner) how pretty and cute I am. And I think that is true, don't you think? Sometimes I'm sad that I'm not worn by a child, but on the other hand it makes me a kind of free. I won't be worn out or be too small after half a year. I will always fit. I'm nearly perfect, the way I am (as I said before I am not clean and need washing). Which is, by the way, a great adventure! I like the turning of the drum, the water and the good smelling soap. I could imagine that it is a bit like a rollercoaster for humans, although I've never been on one. You really should try the washing machine! I don't get a chance to talk to other clothes very often and I don't mind but if I have the chance, I use it. Have you ever talked to a t-shirt before? Or a pullover? It's quite interesting. These are good stories and until I get washed again, I think about them. And they like to hear my stories, at least they always seem interested. A negative point in all the washing is that you mostly talk to clothes of your own color. I'm a gray-green and pink sock, so I have to be washed with the same color, but I would love to talk to a white shirt! How pure white things look! That is one of my dreams and I keep fingers cross that someday it will come true! Now you know a little bit about me. Oh I almost forgot! I have a job! Yes, I'm a babysock with a job. I'm not paid but hey, that's alright with me! Do you want to know what kind of job I have? I'm a cellphone heat keeper! Isn't this just cool? So, now I'm ready and have to return to my job. Bye and thanx for listening!
i really like that one! it's great! i can really imagine a little babysock talking like that! i'm sure everything is able to talk! we just aren't able to understand them! and that's the real problem!
oh this is a really cute text! I love it! In France I had to pretend being a shoe, the result was similar but not half so sweet as this one. Which is funny, really, is the sock complaining about only being able to talk to clothes of the same colour. I have never thought about that! We should support further interclothing communication so that our sock can realize its dream of being with the white clothes.
