well i thought about taking a look about the german canon as well because there are all the books one should have read *g* sometimes i am freaky as well i know *g* ;-)
hm but you're right. i haven't read so many books one should have read according to some stupid academics who think it's general knowledge. i haven't read "faust" for example but we played an extremely shortened version of it on stage so i know at least what it's about. *lol*
