R/T Challenge January 07 -Beta reading please Antworten

Hi everyone!
Hoping you had a great start into this new year, I come asking for beta'ing again.
First story will soon follow, probably this afternoon, it just needs typing.

Anyway, could you read over it for mistakes etc before I go and post it? This time, I'll just put them here, no secrecy this time ;-)

Okay, here's my really short first entry, inspired by a picture of snow on the beach...

It was, maybe, not what most people would consider a day they would wish to spend at the beach. And yet, here they were, spending the first afternoon entirely free of any missions or summons at the beach while it snowed.
“You know, I’ve never actually been at the beach when there’s snow.” She muses, snuggling even closer against him against the cold. “Which is actually strange, since I love both snow and the beach.”
“So…what do you think of both together?” he asks.
“I am not entirely sure yet.” She admits, smiling. “Until now, snow has always been for winter, and the beach for summer.”
“Well, hopefully, I have not been turning your entire world upside-down by bringing you here.”
“You did. Although not by showing me snow at the beach.”
And she bends down and draws a little heart in the snow and sand.
In a few hours, it will be washed away by the tide, and yet, what it represents will not be washed away, but will continue to change lives.

Second entry, already posted there because I had no time between the idea and the day where the prompt came up... I'll hand others over for beta-reading asap...

Saturday Afternoon

Once he had told her that, when he had been little, his mother and his grandmother had always made a cake on Saturday afternoons, and eaten it on Sundays.
It had just been one of these unimportant little things, and he could not even remember how exactly he had come to tell her this, but he remembered when he came back home one Saturday afternoon to find her in the kitchen, trying to do exactly what he had told her.
***
Nymphadora Tonks was, of course, not the best maker of cakes. As a matter of fact, she had not even tried to bake anything since these cookies her mother had forced her to help with Christmas before last. But this was her first free weekends in months, and she had decided to do something for Remus which he would like. And the story about the Saturday cakes had come to her mind. This would be a great start to their weekend together, and she intended to be ready by the time he was finished with his mission and came home. Of course, it had not worked out that way. First, she had needed to decide on a kind of cake to make. She had decided it solely by the ingredients they still had in the kitchen, for she did not have the time to go and shop for some more. That had ruled out any cake with nuts in it. Then she had taken the notebook her mother had given her when she had first moved out, in which the best (and easiest) recipes were written down, and had finally settled on a recipe for chocolate cake that sounded easy enough. She had managed to measure the sugar and butter and get it into the bowl without any difficulties, and even managed not to sprinkle flour all around the kitchen. But the eggs were difficult. She had to use five of them, and yet had somehow managed to use nine before getting five into the bowl.
***
She was too busy to have noticed him yet, and he stopped in the doorway, watching her. There was an egg on the floor in the middle of the kitchen, obviously untouched since it had fallen there...
It was not so much the fact that she had remembered his memory and acted on it that touched him, but it was really unbelievable that he should have found someone else but his mother willing to bake cakes for him. Especially someone who had such little free time in general, and did not like household work at all.

***
Almost finished, she thought and turned around to get a cake pan, when she noticed that he was standing in the doorway. She had not even realized until then that he had arrived home, and that he was looking at her. Shoving aside the thought that she should have been more alert, she smiled and stepped towards him, careful not to dip her foot into the eggs on the floor.
Throwing her arms around him, she forgot that she still was smeared with some of the cake mix she had created, and yet she was somehow disappointed. She had not managed to finish the cake as a surprise when he had come home.
Yet he seemed rather touched: “You were making a cake?”
“You told me it used to be like this when you were a child. That you’d make cakes on Saturdays. I thought you’d like to have one today, when you came home. I’m sorry I couldn’t finish it in time.”
“You know, the cakes we made when I was little - one of the most special things about them was that we did it together – baking, I mean. So, why don’t you let me take my cloak off and do my part.”
She nodded, letting go of him only for the brief time he needed to shed the cloak, and then pulled him into the kitchen before he could even attempt to go and hang it up.
***
He first took a little spoon and tried the contents of the bowl. Not bad. Not bad at all.
“Well, I guess I need to do the icing. There’s nothing else left to do. Except maybe cleaning the kitchen.”
He turned towards her and kissed her, taking one step backwards and pulling her with him. And stepped into one of the broken eggs.

21. Blue
Okay, here's another entry for the challenge I wrote. If one of you finds the time, would you please comment on mistakes/or anything, before the 21st? Thanks in advance

The prompt for this was "blue"
***

She looks into the bathroom mirror, thinking about it. Every other girl getting ready for a date is experimenting with different shades of eyeshadow and nailpolish. She is experimenting with the colour of her hair.
Not that she’d change it according to the wants of any men. Not that they had not tried. As a matter of fact, the first few dates she’s had at school have, in retrospect, only taken place because the boys hoped she would. Remus has never asked her to do anything of the sort. It probably never even occurred to him that he could request something of her. And that with him, it would be much harder for her to even turn down a request like this. Even though she had sworn herself she would never do it. But she does not have to make that decision, luckily. Because he is not the kind of guy to request it from her. Instead, he always tells her how pretty she is, even when after a long day of working, she is a mess in her own eyes.
Now, what colour would be most fitting for tonight?
Pink? It’s her own favourite and all, but on the other hand, she’s using it so often, and she wants this date to be special. For the first time in weeks, she has been able to get an afternoon off, and can spend it with him.
Green? She changes it to different shades, but it doesn’t look the way she wants to look. If they are going to have a picknick or something, which she supposes they will, he probably won’t be able to see her when she looks like the grass around.
Any natural colour strikes her as too boring. No shade of red or blonde or black or brown is what she wants right now.
Blue? Yes, this is exactly what she wants. The same colour as the sky outside, a light blue, seeming to sparkle. Maybe she can change it to become darker later, when the sun has set. The idea pleases her.
When she meets him half an hour later, he tells her that her hair looks pretty.

And here's another one, which is not yet finished, but has time until the 31st
Prompt: movie-script ending
***

She sits close beside him, leaning against his shoulder, and presses the “Power off” button on the remote control.
“So, how did you like it?”
„You know, it’s really funny to spend the afternoon in front of the television.”
“Yeah, but don’t think that we’ll get to do it very often. Whenever my father’s home, he wants to decide on the program himself. And that’s mainly football and other sports.”
“What, he never watches all these predictable romances?”
“Well, no. These are my mother’s videos.”
“They seemed like it.”
“Most guys would have downright refused to watch them with me. You are really an exception.”
She stretches her legs, knocking an empty bowl which had contained popcorn to the floor in the process.
“Let’s say there are probably movies I’d like more, but they were okay.”
“You know what? I think there are probably also movies I like better. We just didn’t have any others so conveniently close.”
He smiles at this. He had realized about halfway through the second movie they watched that she was not really thinking this absolutely the best movie ever made, when she had started to predict how it would end, making it even more ridiculously over-sweet than the real ending was. He had done his best to distract her from the movie.
“Well, I only hope that you don’t expect a movie-script ending like this now.”
He knows he is only teasing her, knows her well enough to know she does not want to sit around in a large manor house for the rest of her life with some rich nobleman.
“Not even a little bit?”She asks.
Unfinished until later
