So, everyone, the release date has been officially confirmed (on JKR's website)...we'll get book seven on July 21! Which kind of sucks for me, because my flight to Australia leaves on the 20th, five minutes before midnight...which means I'll have to wait at least until Singapore to get it, if not until Sydney... But anyway...only 170 days, unless my mathematical skills are not as good. It's eleven o'clock, so I don't guarantee for them. Anyway...what do you think?
i gotta mark it in my calender :-) its a saturday right? as always :-) so i got the weekend for reading..but NO....i just thougth of it...my sister is going to marry on that day!!! dammit!!! mmh..maybe i can read in church? :-)
Well, that makes two of us who can't read it right away...
And I wouldn't suggest reading it in church, for the pope, when he was not yet the pope, condamned HP for promoting witchcraft, and it says somewhere in the bible that "you mustn't let a witch live". Somewhere in Numeri or Deuteronomium, I think, but am not entirely sure right now. (IMO that meant the people practicing human sacrifice and stuff at the time the AT was written in Israel, and not books about wizards saving the world from evil in 2007...but hey-I'm only fifth semester in theology, so maybe we do the NO HP READING part later ) After all, this American woman called Laura something is fighting for getting HP banned because of her Christian beliefs. As a Christian HP reader, I might say I think she over-interpreted a few key elements there.
Also, you'll be able to continue reading on Monday, if it's any comfort to you. The 21st is the start of the semester holidays.
Signatur-Test. Hab noch gar nicht gesehen, dass man bei Edit eine einbauen kann *g*
I'll buy it when I have my in-between stop in Singapore. And read it as soon as I get my hands on it. Now I am waiting for information of how many pages/chapters it has!
well it is probably as long as all the others...i think...but on the other hand I don't really care because I am a fast reader :-) so no problem there :-)
Yeah, me, too. It took me a little more than four hours (reading time, six hours real time since my aunt's swimming pool is so seducing, and my mother forced me to have some lunch ) to get through book six. Hopefully this one will be as long as OotP or longer....there's so many questions I want answered...
Tonight, I had this really weird HP-related dream. Not much related, but you know, there's this interview where JKR said that the last chapter will be an epilogue about what happens to the surviving characters. Well I dreamed there was a new interview saying that NO character will really be featured in that.
